Dana Lindsey
| We found Dana, or he found us, because of his fly tying. Dana owns his own fly tying business and has been tying flies for over 30 years. You want to see some production, especially in scuds and egg patterns, this guy puts them out. We started purchasing many of our flies from him in 2004, and soon discovered he had other talents. Dana started fishing Taneycomo in 1993 and started fly fishing about 10 years ago. It turned into a love affair and he soon wanted to do more than fly fish, he wanted to pass along his knowledge to others. Dana has been guiding with River Run since 2005.
Our question to each of our guides: what do you enjoy the most about guiding? I enjoy meeting new people. Teaching beginners how to fly fish and seeing the sparkle in the eyes and smiles on the faces of my new friends as they catch fish. Also listening to their other fishing experiences. |
