Wind, Wind, Go Away!

Having some warmer days, but several of them have also included some really mean wind!  They are projecting high winds tomorrow from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with gusts id 50-60 mph.  Thursday looks better but temperatures are dropping to the mid 50s.  Friday and through the weekend will be mid 60s.  By late next week it’s back into the 70s.

Water off this morning at 10:00 a.m.  and the projections says it will be off all day tomorrow.

Kevin and his son, Noah spent time with Carolyn on Sunday learning how to cast.  We worked on the roll cast, regular cast and shooting line.  After some time with that, it was to the water.   Unfortunately, it was a tough and windy day.  Noah did hook his first fish on a fly rod and got it to the boat.  Few others but they got away.  It will be better next time.

Monday, Dana took Jeff and Mary out for half a day.  Good day for them on the Ruby 2 midge.  Darren was on the water with Steve and Henry.

Henry – 3/17/25

They too had a good day on anything red.
