Lots of Fishing and Catching Going On!

Beautiful weather!  It will hit the low 80s today with lots of sunshine.  70s through the weekend with chances of rain Sunday.  Next weekend will start out in the mid 50s, but by Tuesday it will be upper 60s and finished out the week in the 70s.

Generation has been two or three units during the morning hours then down to one unit by 10:00 or 11:00 a.m.  Yesterday, they ran it a little longer but eventually cut it back to the low one unit.  Today and tomorrow are projecting a low one unit all day.

Monday, Dana, Darren and Jim took a group from New Mexico out for half a day.  It was in celebration of Jim’s 78th birthday.  Dana’ couple, Abby and John had a good day on the cream mop fly.  Darren had Nadine and Ben fishing a Ruby 2 or black and silver midges.  Jim’s guys, Jim and Steve didn’t fair as well.  No best flies but they did bring a few fish to the boat.

Michael & Carter – 3/25/25

Tuesday, one of Jim’s regulars Frank, from Belton, MO. went out for half a day.  Pretty steady fishing day

Carter’s first fish on fly rod – 3/25/25

for them on the Ruby midge, tan mop and a JQ streamer.  Michael and his grandson, Carter fished with Gina.  Fun day for them.  This was Carter’s first fly fishing trip.  They landed some fish on the Ruby 2 midge.

Carolyn took Tom and Sandy out for a half day float Wednesday.  Beautiful day with just brief periods of wind.  Nothing like we have been having.  Sandy had not been fly fishing for quite a while so we worked a little on casting.  It was a good day for them on the Ruby 2 and black copperhead midges.  Dana had one of his regular, regulars, George on the water for half a day.  They had a good day on the Ruby 2 midge.
