Low Dissolved Oxygen Making You Work For Fish!
Weather cooling down a little this week. Looks like low to mid 80s until Friday when it will move back into the low 90s through the weekend. Had some rain this morning but it looks dry throughout the rest of the week.
They continue with the generation pattern of off most of the day over the weekend and off during the morning hours on week days, coming on anywhere from noon to 2:00 p.m.
Jim on the water last Wednesday with one of his regular, regulars, Tom, from Oklahoma. Very tough day. Had a few strikes but that was it!
Thursday, Dana took Erik and Everett out. They found a few fish on the tan scud and cream mop fly. Carolyn had Richard, from Texas out for the morning. Tom is mainly a salt water fisher. He enjoyed

catching trout for a change. Had a descent day on the black copperhead and Ruby 2 midges.
Jim out with Ed and Lori Friday. They caught a few fish on the JQ streamer.
Saturday, Jim had another one of his regular, regulars, Scott on the water. Pretty good day for them stripping a size 12 sculpin.
Carolyn had Tabby on the water Sunday. Started out really slow. Three fish

landed. However, one of them was a nice 18″ plus rainbow. Decided to find another place to try and finished up with a good day on the water. Ruby 2 midge was the ticket!
Just a reminder! With the oxygen so low, remember to take just a little longer releasing your fish. They fight really hard even though they are not getting enough oxygen (wouldn’t you?) but they can be worn out when you finally get them in. Just take a few more minutes, make sure they are breathing good and staying upright before releasing them. They will grow up and be bigger next year!!!
