Relief By Sunday!
Looks like a couple more days in the upper 90s. Saturday will be in the low 90s and Sunday will see mid 80s! Then, low to mid 80s through Thursday. Friday climbs back up into the low 80s and Saturday looks like low 90s. Slight chances for rain Sunday and Monday.
The only change we have seen the past two days in the generation pattern is that they are coming on around 11:00 a.m. instead of noon or 1:00 p.m. The bad news there is that around 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. is when we start to see the dissolved oxygen come up. According to the Corp of Engineers report, they have 82.4 tons of LOx on hand for whenever they decide to start injecting.
Gary on the water last Friday with Nick and Hayden from Arkansas. Instructional trip with them also catching fish on the Ruby 2 midge.
Saturday, Darren had Derek from up in St. Joseph. They worked on and a few fish on the sowbug/scud combo.
Randy and Bob from Oklahoma fished with Carolyn Tuesday. Another tough day. This was Bob’s first time with a fly rod, they worked a little on the roll cast then the pick up and lay down cast. He had it down pretty good by the time the trip was over. Best pattern was the P&P midge.
