Off Water Again During The Morning!
Beautiful weather! Sunny and a slight wind the past three days. We did get about 20 minutes of heavy rain yesterday afternoon but that was it. Looks like more sunny days in the mid 80s with slight chances of rain Thursday and Friday. Up to 50% chance Saturday…..that that’s aways off. We’ll see.
Ran water all way every day over the weekend and Monday. Today, however, is a new day and the water is off this morning. Looks like it will be off until noon or 1:00 p.m. We think this trend might continue through the week. Table Rock is just a tad above power pool and Beaver is over power pool by a little over a foot. We’ll get a better feel when we see tomorrow’s generation schedule.

on the ruby 2 and black copperhead midges. Water running then so they did the full run. Dana had a fun day. Jeff and Nicki brought their son Jay to catch a fish on a fly rod. Jay did great and landed two fish on a fly rod all by himself! They were fishing the Ruby 2 and Lil’ Rusty midges and the mop fly. Don’t know which was bigger….the fish or his smile!

Friday it was chaos! Bachelor party for Tyler. He’s the last one in this group to get married! The pretty much all grew up together in Pennsylvania. Of course, they are now scattered around, but they all gathered here in Branson for the party.

Amongst the many things they had on their agenda of stuff to do was go fly fishing! Fun half day! Gina hade Allen and Kevin.

They were brand new to fly fishing but fast learners and landed fish on the ruby 2 and black copperhead midges under the big ruby. We had a little over two generators going so we did the full run. Darren had Tyler and Ryan. They were catching on the Ruby 2 and Lil’ Rusty midges and the mop fly. Chris and Tim fished with Dana. Dana had Tim stripping a JQ streamer and they were catching on the Ruby
2. Carolyn’s guys, Corey and Mango were stripping the Tiger Tail, and nymphing a Ruby 2, Cerise San Juan worm, or Lightning Bug. All working great!
Sunday, Carolyn took Jim out for half a day.

Monday, Darren and Carolyn took Fred , his son and his son’s girlfriend out for half a day. Darren had Troy and Anice. Anice is pretty new to fly fishing so Darren worked with her and got her to getting the fly into the water. Hook set still needs some work but she is certainly getting there. They were catching on the Ruby 2 under the
