Lots Of Fishers In The Water This Weekend!
Weather has been great. A little more wind that we like for a couple of days, but the weather we had and the water being off, it was certainly tolerable. Expecting highs in the 50s Monday through Wednesday. Hard freeze Tuesday and Wednesday! Then…..back into the 70s and low 80s through next weekend.
No chance in generation. Off during morning hours then coming on around 1:00 or 2:00. Off most of the weekend. Expect more of the same.
Experiencing good days and tough days. Just depends on when and how much liquid oxygen they inject.
Dana out last Sunday with Treva and John. Tough day. Missed some, cau0ght some on either a gray or tan scud.
Monday, Dana had George and Bruce on the water. They could only go in the afternoon so when the water came on, fishing went south. We had given them a heads up on the conditions, but they said they would just enjoy being out there and trying. They did bring in a few on the black zebra midge. Darren had a couple of our long-time customers, Meredith and Chester on the water.
They booked both Monday and Tuesday. Between the two days, they had a very good outing on a #22 sowbug and #20 scud. Jim out with Carl from North Carolina. They were catching on a gray scud or the black copperhead midge. Marvin, from California fished with Dana. Black copperhead midge for them.
Thursday, Scotlon with with Dana. Another black copperhead midge day. Gary and Berry were fishing with Darren Thursday and Friday. This was a couple of our high wind days! Tough on everything. Fished scuds, sowbugs, emergers, tiger tail and marabou matuka.
Bill and Dan from Kansas fished with Dana Saturday. Good day for them on the black copperhead and ruby 2 midges.
