Nice Fish!
Slightly unusual weather for the end of June. Temperatures have been in the 80s. Looks like it will stay that way through and week and into next week. The only bad thing is the occasional shower we might have each day. We have had enough rain for a while.
Since we continue to have rain, the generation schedule has not changed. Two to three generators 24/7. No light in sight right now.
Jim on the water last Saturday with a couple of students who just finished our Orvis two-day school. They caught fish on the JQ streamer and the ruby with the ruby 2 dropper.
Monday, Carolyn took Michael and Stephen out for half a day. A little slow start, but when they finally hit some fish, it was pretty steady.
Several nice fish! Best combo of the day was the ruby 2 under the big ruby. Did catch a couple stripping the holographic green crackleback trailing the JQ streamer.
Jacob and Shea spent today on the water with Dana. Fun day for them as Shea is brand new at fly fishing and today she caught
her first trout on a fly rod. The mega worm was best pattern for the day, but they also caught some on the black copperhead and ruby 2 midges. Jim’s couple, Lionel and Susan from Oklahoma were catching on the JQ streamer and a ruby midge. We have been seeing some very nice fish coming to the boats the past several days.
