Generation pattern so far this week has definitely been a bit erratic.  Monday it was off until 2:00 p.m.   On until 8:00 p.m. then off until midnight.  On at midnight until 6:00 a.m. or so then off for about three hours then back on.  So far, they have not shut it down and are projecting generation all day today.  However, it is primarily two generators at a level of 705 feet plus or minus.   Weather has continued to be great, but today we got some rain.  Rain in the forecast, 40-50% chance, into Friday. 

Stan and Jim were on the water Monday for a half day with a group from Texas.  Judith and Jim were with Jim, and Norman and Laura were with Stan.  All of them were fairly new to fly fishing and they had a fun trip catching trout on the Copper Dun Midge, size 18; a size 16 Lightening Bug; size 20 blood worm dropper under a size 16 Miracle Scud.  They were scheduled to go out again today, but the rain made everyone think otherwise…especially when we heard some thunder this morning.  

Tuesday, Jim had Danny from Mississippi out for half a day.  Danny had some some salt water and warm fly fishing, but never trout and lighter gear.  Had to do a little hook setting work in order to get some fish to the boat.  With the water flowing, the red midge with either a red or orange San Juan worm were their patterns.  Stan had a couple of his regulars, George and Hubert from over by Bennett Springs, out for a late morning start half day.   George  was very pleased with the quality of the fish she consistently caught.  Good day on the Lightening Bug with a pink San Juan dropper early in the trip, then switched to the red midge with the same dropper later.
